Fixed Lens

Simply choose a single focal length on a lens and shoot your entire story with it. This requires zooming with your feet instead of your lens, and will get you accustomed to changing your position and finding new angles. Likely choices include a 35mm or 50mm lens—The basic Lumix camera kits in the rental room are equipped with a 50mm prime if you specify it. If you prefer to use a zoom lens, simply set a focal length, and then tape the zoom into that position so it will not change during your shooting exercise.
